31 Days of Inviting the Uninvited: Inviting Feelings

Yesterday, I already felt like the task of writing for 31 days straight on the same topic was a little daunting. It's not like I pre-wrote anything (that would require too much planning). I had the feeling with my kind of sporadic work life, more long nights were in my future. That made me tired thinking about it.

Today, I'm up and writing early (surprise). And, I'm letting go and remembering that this series began as a way to remember the journey and to explore what God is up to when the unexpected happens in life - and maybe, how to even embrace it, starting with the simple act of writing about it.

That's what this is all about. It's not about having the right words. I can still invite in the right now.

My brain coming off tired from the week.
I miss my family.
Excited to see my friends this weekend.
Thankful for work despite its quirks.
Determined to try a new adventure.

What about you? What is one thing that might be on your list if you embraced where you are right now?
