Not anymore. And I'm too busy.

Hi friends. I'm here for 31 30 days of October. It's interesting how a year has softened me in many ways. I laugh as I write that because I don't feel like I look it sometimes, scrambling around during the day and still feeling like I'm trying to make life 'work.'

 Last year I talked about living inside what seems messy and un-made-up when you are in the often confusing, middle space parts of your life. This past year, I lived that in many ways.

It's funny because last year I planned and I planned on how to write a great series. Don't misunderstand, it's okay to plan a collection of writings, or plan in general. But as soon as I started the series, I got a new job, and I remember the struggle it took to even finish 31 days. But, I wouldn't let myself back down from that unexpected, the uninvited.

This year I want to write about that very thing. Inviting in that which we don't expect, what we don't count on, and to see what happens in those places.

For 30 days. Not 31. Because life isn't always what you plan.
